For me this was one of my favorite sessions to date.  I’m not going to lie it was also one of the most difficult sessions I’ve done.  I don’t know about other photographers but taking pictures of my own kids is no easy task.  Then mixing that with my 6 month old baby and 2 very energetic toddlers I definitely had my work cut out for me;).  I think thats one of the reasons why I love these pictures so much.  It was a challenge and I learned a lot by doing it.

I love 5678 dance studio and am so happy they asked me to do these pictures for them.  I hope to do more in the future!!

This darling family bid on a photography session with me and all the proceeds went to The Fish Family to help their little girls get their bone marrow transplants.  I was touched by the amount of money that the Walker Family was willing to give.  I know that the Fish Family is so very grateful!  In helping with the auction for the Fish Family my eyes were opened to how many good and giving people are out there.  People who sometimes don’t even know the Fishes but when hearing their story were immediately willing and happy to help.

I am so excited to share these pictures I had so much fun working with this cute family!!

Along with my love of photography and hair I have another love that some don’t know about.  I love to dance!  I help teach the adult dancers at 5678 dance studio in Modesto.  I love, love, love these awesome ladies!   I love being able to hang out with them weekly and even though I didn’t shake it with them this year for the recital I was there biggest fan!  It is so fun to be able to continue to dance even as an adult and I love that these ladies love it too!  Aren’t they HOT!  

I hope everyone had a fun 4th of July!!  The 4th of July is one of my very favorite holidays!  I love celebrating our country so much and am so grateful that I live in America with my family.  I am also very grateful that my husbands Grandpa had the courage to bring his family to America from East Germany during the war.  If he hadn’t I would not have been able to be with my awesome husband and his family that I love!
